Manager/Asst Manager – 5 to 8 years of experience in solar module manufacturing process industries, especially in overseeing end-to-end maintenance operations of solar module manufacturing equipment. Responsibilities Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance plans for critical module line equipment (stringers, laminators, Glass Loader, Auto Bussing, IV/EL testers, conveyors, curing ovens, trimming machines, etc.). Ensure smooth functioning and minimal downtime through real-time fault detection and resolution. Maintain equipment efficiency to meet production KPIs and operational goals. Analyze repetitive breakdowns and implement root cause analysis (RCA), FMEA, and CAPA to reduce failures. Improve MTBF and reduce MTTR by standardizing maintenance procedures and spare management. Drive energy-saving initiatives and cost-effective solutions for equipment reliability. Maintain equipment history records, daily checklists, statutory compliance reports, and calibration logs. Manage critical spare inventory, procurement planning, vendor negotiations, and AMC/contractor coordination. Evaluate vendor performance and service reliability for timely support and delivery. Supervise and mentor maintenance engineers, technicians, and support staff. Coordinate with production, quality, and EHS teams to plan maintenance shutdowns and improvements. Qualifications: B.E. / B. Tech / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering from a reputed college/institution. Required Skills: Focuses on maximizing equipment uptime. Driving preventive and predictive maintenance strategies. Ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. Leading a team of engineers and technicians.
