Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and motivated Team Leader to lead a group of researchers and engineers in developing innovative solutions in image processing, computer vision, and deep learning . The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with proven leadership skills to drive cutting-edge projects from concept to deployment, ensuring high-quality research output and product-ready solutions. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Management Lead, mentor, and manage a multidisciplinary team of researchers and engineers. Define project goals, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Foster a collaborative, innovative, and high-performance culture. Research & Development Design, implement, and optimize deep learning and computer vision algorithms for tasks such as detection, segmentation, tracking, and recognition. Drive innovation in image analysis, medical imaging, industrial vision, and AI-powered automation . Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and publications in AI and vision technologies. Project Execution Translate business/clinical/industrial needs into AI-based solutions. Oversee end-to-end pipeline: data acquisition, preprocessing, model training, evaluation, and deployment . Ensure robustness, scalability, and compliance with regulatory or domain-specific standards (e.g., FDA for Software as a Medical Devices) Collaboration & Communication Work closely with cross-functional teams (data science, software, product, hardware). Present results to stakeholders, prepare technical reports, and support publications/patent filings. Represent the team in conferences, client meetings, and technical collaborations. Required Qualifications Master’s or PhD in Computer Science & Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related fields . 5–10+ years of experience in image processing, computer vision, and deep learning, with at least 2+ years in a leadership/mentorship role . Strong track record in developing and deploying deep learning models (Unets, CNNs, Transformers, GANs, etc.) . Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, OpenCV, DICOM, NIfTY and related libraries . Experience with MLOps, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and model optimization (quantization, pruning) . Strong publication/patent record (for R&D roles) or deployment history (for industry roles). Preferred Skills Experience in medical imaging, autonomous systems, robotics, or industrial inspection . Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g., FDA, CE Marking for SaMD). Strong understanding of data management, annotation strategies, and synthetic data generation . Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
