Job Description: Coffee Machine Repair Technician ( ) Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Coffee Machine Repair Technician to join our team. The technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial and domestic coffee machines and grinders. The role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities: Install, calibrate, and commission new coffee machines and grinders at client locations. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in espresso machines, brewers, and grinders. Perform preventive maintenance and routine servicing to ensure equipment reliability and performance. Repair or replace faulty components such as pumps, boilers, valves, electronic boards, and group heads. Provide on-site and workshop-based technical support for clients. Keep accurate records of service calls, repairs, spare parts usage, and maintenance schedules. Advise customers on proper machine care, cleaning, and operation. Maintain inventory of spare parts and tools. Ensure compliance with safety standards and manufacturer guidelines. Support the sales and training team with technical expertise when required. Qualifications & Skills: Proven experience as a coffee machine technician, appliance technician, or similar role. Strong knowledge of espresso machine mechanics, electrical systems, and water filtration. Ability to read technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics. Skilled in using diagnostic tools, multimeters, and hand tools. Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for service calls. Preferred: Certification or training from major coffee machine manufacturers (e.g., Sanremo, La Marzocco, Nuova Simonelli, WMF, XLVI, etc.). Background in electrical, mechanical, or refrigeration engineering. Previous experience in the coffee industry. Work Environment & Benefits: Combination of workshop-based and field service work.
