The IT Data Analyst plays a key role in managing business-critical data applications and ensuring the accuracy, accessibility, and usability of the data applications. This role is responsible for overseeing the development, administration, enhancement, and support for data capture, processing and reporting projects use cases using Azure framework and visualization tools like Power BI and Tableau. While driving the projects the analyst should be able to manage the stakeholders across the APIC region, and deliver. The analyst should be able to supervise an outsourced Business Intelligence (BI) analyst and external service partners as needed. Key Responsibilities: Lead data and reporting applications using data visualization tools to deliver reporting and analytic projects like: Consolidated Profit Database See Through Profitability Database Ensure data integrity, availability, and security across business intelligence platforms and related reporting systems. Work closely with Finance, Sales, and other business units to gather requirements, develop dashboards and reports, and translate business needs into effective data solutions. Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to align data analytics initiatives with strategic goals and operational needs. Supervise and coordinate with an outsourced Business Intelligence Analyst, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of analytics tasks and enhancements. Manage application performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and coordinate upgrades or patches in collaboration with internal IT and external vendors. Develop and maintain documentation for database structures, data workflows, reporting standards, and user guidelines. Identify and implement process improvements in data collection, transformation, and visualization to support better decision-making. Support data governance initiatives by ensuring adherence to data management standards and policies. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. JOB REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field. Minimum 5 – 7 years of experience in data analytics, BI application management, or related fields. Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau, and SQL-based data sources. Familiarity with financial and profitability reporting systems or applications is a plus. Experience working with cross-functional teams and translating business needs into technical requirements. Proven ability to manage external vendors or outsourced analytics support teams. Strong project management skills, with experience leading cross-functional initiatives across Asia Pacific. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a multi-cultural environment. Self-motivated, analytical, and able to manage issues from multiple perspectives.
