Job Responsibilities – Support the Firm’s mission and values by exhibiting the following behaviors: accountability, collaboration, excellence, and innovation Become familiar with the Firm’s policies and procedures Obtain a working knowledge of the Healthcare industry Obtain a working knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare laws and Firm-specific Healthcare department practices and procedures Obtain a working knowledge of healthcare terminology used in advisory services Understand and abide by the rules, regulations, and code of conduct of the AICPA Perform the following procedures: Prepare Medicaid and Medicare cost reports and related management analyses Coordinate and organize clients’ data for accurate and timely completion of cost reports including financial data and facility census reports Conduct healthcare research projects Complete and submit cost reports to more experienced staff Perform other duties as assigned Job Qualifications – 0-3 years of public accounting experience (one public accounting internship require, preferably in healthcare consulting, but minimally in audit or tax) Bachelor’s degree in accounting CPA eligible or CPA license Detail-oriented with a passion for accuracy Great verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational skills and time management The ability to handle confidential and sensitive information The ability to interact with clients and employees of all levels of the Firm
